Large countries like China, India and Russia are present in Africa hunting for valuable metals, minerals, oil and natural gas. Enormous amounts of metals such as copper and cobalt, is needed to supply the world with electronics such as computers and mobile phones. Contracts of several billions are written along with promises to improve the infrastructure and the inhabitants of the producing countries.
